For organizations
Calgary would love to help your group
calgaryvolunteers.com is a free page where Calgarians find local ways to help. Post the help you need, and people who want to pitch in come to you through Jordan.
How posting works
- Fill in one short form with the role, when it happens and the part of the city
- Jordan reads it and puts it on the board, usually within a day or two
- People tap I want to help, and Jordan passes each note to you by hand
- You reply to the people who fit, in your own way
- Filled, changed or done? Email Jordan and it comes down
What you can share
- One-time days or ongoing shifts
- Weekday daytime, weekday evenings or weekends
- The community, from the City list of 223 residential communities
- Good for groups, families, or kids and teens with an age note
- Accessibility details so everyone knows what to expect
What stays private
- Your name and email never show on the site
- Volunteer notes reach you through Jordan, not a public inbox
- Hours volunteers log are checked with you before they count
- No one is listed publicly, and nothing is sold or shared
Who it is for
Charities, food banks, community associations, seniors centres, sport clubs, schools, festivals and arts groups across Calgary. If you need a hand, you belong here. It is free for local groups.
